In-Person Training Workshop 2026
 We are excited to welcome trainees to a full day, in-person training workshop for Humminbird XPLORE, APEX, and SOLIX G3 fish finders. There is  no better way to jump start your electronics knowledge than a full day workshop with The Technological Angler.

What: Full-day Humminbird XPLORE, APEX, and SOLIX G3 training

Where: Blue Harbor Resort, Sheboygan, Wisconsin

When: Saturday, March 28 2026, 8 am - 4 pm

This classroom-format workshop will cover all  major features and functions of Humminbird XPLORE, APEX, and SOLIX G3 fish finders. I assume limited prior experience with the equipment going into the workshop; I basically start from ground-zero. By the end of the workshop, we will have covered:


Operating system and user interface

2D Sonar: Theory and Practice

Down Imaging: Theory and Practice

Side Imaging: Theory and Practice

Chart and Navigation functions

One Boat Network Operation and Configuration

And more...


Each trainee receives a custom printed training manual for use during the workshop and beyond. A catered lunch from Blue Harbor Resort, courtesy of our partners at Team Winnebagoland Marine Sheboygan, will also be provided.


Staff members from Team Winnebagoland Marine will be on hand to help with equipment orders and rigging appointments. This is a great opportunity to get the right equipment and accessories added to your boat, and have it installed the right way.

Workshop Registration Policy:


Full refunds for cancelled registrations are available through March 20. After March 20, refunds for cancelled registrations will only be provided if the reserved seat can be filled by another trainee. Thanks for understanding.
