Our Sonar Summit runs from August 10-16 and is packed with opportunities to catch trophies, dial in your graphs, and get individualized on-the-water training in your boat, on your equipment. You’ll never find a more detailed, more welcoming, more comprehensive, and more exciting Canadian fishing adventure than this one. Bring your own boat and learn on your own equipment - or enjoy use of a Hawk Lake Lodge boat equipped with a BRAND NEW Humminbird XPLORE fish finder and Minn Kota Terrova trolling motor with Advanced GPS Navigation.
Here’s what the week will look like:
Arrive at the lodge on Sunday August 10. Get the boat in the water, get settled into your cabin, then enjoy the first of many 5-star dinners and a welcome seminar from your hosts. Then, go catch a bunch of evening fish!
Each day, from Monday-Friday, you’ll have the chance to fish Hawk Lake or any one of the lodge’s exclusive portage lakes, fueled by a made to order breakfast and hand-packed, custom lunch. Return to the lodge around 4 for happy hour and a detailed instructional seminar from The Technological Angler around 5. Each daily seminar will be a deep dive into one key feature or function - Side Imaging, Down-looking techniques, Live and 360 Sonar, advanced boat control tools, and more. Take notes for the boat and collaborate with all of your new friends. Then - another incredible dinner, and then - more fishing!
Every day, I’ll be offering two, 2-hour individualized training sessions that will happen in either your boat (with your stuff) or mine. Those will look and feel just like the On-The-Water training sessions I run down here in the States - we’ll cover anything you want to learn about your graphs, motors, and accessories. All while casting and catching Hawk Lake walleyes, smallies, and lakers. I guarantee at least one individualized training session for each group, and am happy to welcome guests into my boat too if you wanna just go fishin’ or see how I use my equipment in a real-world fishing situation.
